In the previous pASuras AzhwAr cried loudly about the cruelty of his indriyas. BagavAn says ‘AzhwAr! Even brahma and others have their own duhKas. When I lie on pArkaDal they come and tell me their woes. But for Your sake alone I have come to tiruvazhundoor leaving my abode in the paramapada and pArkaDal. Why do You worry?’ AzhwAr is pacified by this reply. He does upadESa to the people to come and worship Him in this divya dESa.

emberumAn took hayagreeva avatAra in order to bring back the lost vEdas due to the covering of ignorance over all the worlds. (the asuras in the form of ignorance covered the world and the vEdas were lost). He resides in tiruvazhundoor where the pairs of swans perch on the red lotus flowers fanned by the red paddy stalks and sung lullaby by the conches.

Oh! Men! Come and see Him in this diyva dESa where the river kAvEri brings gold, gems, ahil trees and sandal wood along her current and scatters them in the fields through the canals that irrigate them. The emberumAn is He who protected the gajEndra, the chief of the herds who was caught by a crocodile when he plucked a lotus from the pond to offer it to BagavAn. Our swAmi came riding on garuDa with such a haste when He heard the cries of the elephant, will certainly rescue samsAris from the mire of samsAra if He hears our cry too.

He resides in tiruvazhundoor where there are beautiful girls who talk like parrots, wear beautiful bangles and walk like swans.
